3/12/07 - Noida's Sector 41 RWA on web now - Hindustan Times
THE RESIDENTS Welfare Association of Sector 41 has gone hi-tech and had launched its own website to address the day-to-day problems of the residents in a more organized manner.
RWA president K.L. Bansal, said, “Our website rwa41noida.com has been constructed so that aggrieved residents do not have to come all the way to the RWA office all the time. Now all that they need to do is register on the site and let out their woes. We in turn look into the matter spontaneously”.
If residents require of plumbers, electricians or even maids, they just access the site and their requirement is fulfilled within hours, added Bansal.
Bansal said that a dispensary has also been started for the residents. Two doctors are available at the scheduled timings. Medicines too are provided free of cost. Rs.5 is charged from domestic maids and Rs.20 from sector residents.
“Sector 41 has a population of around 15,000 people. There only Kothis ranging from 100 sqm to 250sqm. Retired bureaucrats, police official and businessmen live here. People in general are well educated and since most of them have computers and broadband connections along with various online facilities, launching the site here has proved very successful,” said Bansal.
